RAILROAD SIGNALS of the U.S.

the HOUSTON LIGHT RAIL SYSTEM

This section highlights the Metro Light Rail system running in Houston Texas.  The system opened in 2004.   It is a relatively short system, but a number of extensions are planned, as can be seem in my map.

The signals of this light rail system are simple - bar signals prevail, with a few yellow and white "ball" signals at interlockings and gated crossings, respectively.  All signals are LED's.

This is the original version of the map without all the other stuff on it.
