Up until early 2007, this area used to be all CPL's. Now, between Gable and Patapsco Aves, they have replaced the CPL's with Darth Vader style color light signals.

This area is significant because it is where CSX freights head south from the mainline to the Curtiss Bay area of south Baltimore, although from the northside, freights can also take the Baltimore industrial track, but you usually only see short freights taking that route.
