The platforms at Wilmington are a great spot to take pictures from, and even thought Amtrak had a swam of railroad cops out in force, they were considerate of railfans and didn't stop us from taking pictures here as they usually do.
There were plenty of regular Amtrak trains and SEPTA commuters to keep one busy for as long as you liked.
Wilmington marks the last of 10 places the train appeared "under the wire", and one of 10 places on the NEC. Grand Central Station is not technically under wire, and Harrisburg is not on the NEC but is under wire.
